It was a glorious, glorious fall day.
Not chilly, not hot, but the perfect weather. The perfect day for the most deserving couple.
Levi and Stephanie’s journey has not been easy, they have been patient, and have sought the Lord through it all. They have been faithful, and obedient, and I admire them because of that.
To see the look on Stephanie’s face when she said her vows, and the look on Levi’s face when he saw his bride, his stunning, glowing, beaming bride for the first time was so beautiful, to be able to capture those moments, was truly a dream come true!
The morning of is always so so fun, it’s usually my favorite part of the day. Seeing the girls get ready, and gradually get more and more beautiful, and seeing them relate to each other and support each other always warms my heart.
To me, photography is so much more then pretty photos, and making everything look perfect. It goes way beyond smiling for the camera and making sure everyone is looking. To me, it’s the moments. That split second of natural perfection. On a wedding day, the hugs, the tears, the delight, the love, the story, that is what I strive to capture every single time.
The guys are always so fun to photograph as well, and Levi’s groomsman had an extra special flare to them, because he has two brothers in the military. His best man wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to make it to the wedding, so it was incredibly special that he was able to come. And of course we had to add the flags in honor of their duty. (And I was obsessed.)
The ceremony.
It was gorgeous. It was filled with beauty and emotion, and love. I mentioned this before, but the look on Stephanie’s face during the vows was just darling. Also, Stephanie’s sister walked her down the isle, which I thought was the sweetest, most tender moment. I was in tears.
The Reception.
What a fun, lovely evening!
There was live music! You guys! No one has live music anymore, (at least not in my neck of the wedding industry) and let me tell you, it was so so worth it! It made the dance floor feel so much more authentic, and had such a wonderful vibe to it!
If you have no idea where to start with finding live music for YOUR wedding, message me, I know a few people!
Also, it was the coolest thing ever when the groom himself played us a few songs. (That was a first for me!)
Below is Levi’s it’s time to leave look.
So leave they did.
And it was such a wonderful wonderful day.
Thank you again, Levi and Stephanie for trusting me with your wedding photos. Ya’ll are truly such a wonderful couple, and I know you will change this world, together, and with Jesus! God bless!
xoxo
