Elmer and Sarah (Wedding)

Elmer and Sarah’s day was such a special, special day for me.

Sarah has been a friend to me for a long time. We walked some crazy journeys together. So when she asked me to do her photos, and actually adjusted her date to make it work for me, you can believe that I was beyond honored.

Her and Elmer’s day did not disappoint. It was GORGEOUS. And sacred. And holy. And there was so much worship. And it was beautiful.

On your wedding day, get yourself a group of girls that knows how to CELEBRATE!!!! Sarah’s bridesmaids, (actually the entire wedding party) did not stop celebrating, rejoicing, supporting, and praying for the bride and groom all day long. It was incredible.

The guys were just too much fun at this wedding. I had to shout a few times so they could hear me, but I left that day wishing I could keep them as friends.

Ahhh the first look, if you’re planning a wedding, I would highly recommend a first look. It allows for intimate moments to happen between just the two of you, without being surrounded by tons of faces. The reaction tends to be more genuine, and goodness you get to hug and kiss right away, not just listen to a preacher. Plus I can’t tell you how often I’ve seen a bride go from tensed and nervous, to perfectly relaxed and safe. It’s amazing actually.

The ceremony. As soon as the worship leader started playing “Yeshua” I started crying. (Yes me) And I’m supposed to be professional. But it was just so powerful with the presence of Jesus.

After the ceremony, we snuck away in a little old truck for some more portraits. It was definitely my favorite part of the day, because look how PRETTY!

The Reception. It was complete with a enormous charcuterie board, the shoe game, worship and dancing.

It was so special to capture Sarah and Elmer’s day!

I think that I say this every single blog post, but I love love love my job so much!

Sarah and Elmer, I wish you two the absolute BEST. Love you guys!
